Are you a security professional with a passion for working on the world’s most impactful programmes? If so a Programme Security Advisor role with Turner & Townsend may be just for you. We are actively recruiting for a Senior Consultant who has prior consulting experience or experience as the key security contact in large scale organisations and capital programmes. Individuals looking to apply should have demonstrable skills in areas including information security, supply chain security management and technical security. As a Programme Security Advisor you will be advising clients, architects, engineers, suppliers and project managers on the best approaches to manage security risk in capital programmes across a range of sectors including life sciences, defence, datacentres and critical national infrastructure.   Roles and Responsibilities - Engage with clients to understand and interpret programme security requirements expressed in security schedules and security aspects letters (SALs) - Design, implement and monitor security controls for capital programmes -  Lead security risk management, governance and assurance for and on behalf clients. - Support the development and implementation of security frameworks to protect critical assets and business operations. - Offer clear, structured guidance and advice to strengthen security. - Author and review security governance documents for and on behalf of clients.     Essential Skills Knowledge and experience of implementing security strategies and governance frameworks. Experience as a subject matter expert within major projects/programmes Experience in supply chain security assurance, governance and engagement. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into actionable business language for communication with key stakeholders  Demonstrable knowledge and application of standards such as GovS007, Contracting Securely, NPSA frameworks Knowledge of risk management methodologies and frameworks (e.g. ISO31000) Understanding of the RIBA plan of work and the delivery of security within the built environment Must hold, have held or be eligible for UK National Security Clearance    Desirable Skills Previous consulting experience, and/or previous experience in managing security in major capital programmes Experience in one of Turner & Townsend’s key sectors Security qualifications in your area of expertise e.g. CSMP, RSES, CSyP, Security Institute qualifications Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. The Security Institute, ASIS, ISMI Demonstrable knowledge and application of ISO 27001.
