Job description

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiff & the Vale Hospice IPU Team in Penarth.  You’ll be part of a supportive team that truly cares about you and your development. Using a patient-centred approach and evidenced based practice, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and co-ordinate care from admission to discharge. You will be expected to administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMC’s and the Charity’s policies and guidelines. You will also provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and carers. We will consider applications from newly qualified nurses with a genuine passion for end-of-life care and a foundation of skills and experience that could potentially be supported into the role. Salary:  Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC) £32,557 - £39,631 per annum + enhancements Contract: Permanent, part time hours - 23 hours per week.
