We have a number of opportunities available in our factory in  Willand , which has been continually processing for over 100 years.  The rate for our  Portions Production Operative  role is:  £12.71 per hour The shift pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 05:30am -14:30pm with an early finish on Tuesday at 13:30pm.  This will give you every weekend off. You'll join our  Chicken Portions  department and your role will include the following duties:  Processing and packing raw chicken breasts   Ensuring packaging and weight meet customer specifications Having high standards in Food Safety and Health and Safety Working with a multi-cultural team of enthusiastic employees.  We also have vacancies in our added value department, duties include: Handling raw chicken Working with seasonings for chicken We have AM and PM vacancies for this position No experience will be required just come with a "Can do" attitude.  We'll provide you with full training in Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety, the processing of raw chicken breasts, and how we meet our various customer requirements. In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.    You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue.
