Closing date: 30 November 2026 We are looking for an experienced Associate Project Manager to lead the delivery of major complex infrastructure projects and programmes, with a particular focus on the Water and Environment sector. This is a leadership opportunity for an accomplished project professional looking to play a key role in the delivery of major infrastructure programmes while helping to shape the future growth of our business. With a particular focus on the Water and Environment sector, you will lead strategic client relationships, support business development activities, and provide leadership across complex programmes and multidisciplinary teams. The role can be based from any of our UK offices, including Cardiff, Bristol, London, Winchester, Reading, Oxford, Cheltenham, Cambridge, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle. What you need to do to be effective in this role Provide leadership across major infrastructure programmes and frameworks, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships. Take accountability for the commercial performance and profitability of commissions and frameworks. Lead multidisciplinary project teams and support the development of project management staff across the business. Identify and secure opportunities for business growth within existing and prospective client accounts. Lead major bids, tenders and framework submissions. Support business planning and contribute to sector growth strategies. Responsibility for growing key client accounts, recruitment and contributing to business strategy. Champion best practice in project management, governance, risk management and project controls. Oversee project performance across programme portfolios, ensuring delivery to agreed objectives.
