Hours: 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year Monday to Friday 15:00-18:00 Contract: Fixed term for one year from start date Closing Date: Friday 13th November 9am Interviews: Tuesday 17th November 2026 Start Date: ASAP St. George’s Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant. An After-School Club Assistant will be required: • To assist the leader in providing a caring, safe and secure environment. • Be adaptable to different ages, to be non-discriminatory. • To assist in planning and providing an appropriate range of activities for children. • Provide extra support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities. • Provide extra support for pupils with English as an additional language. The successful candidate will have: • Good communication skills. • Good IT skills, and the use of Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but not a requirement. • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks. • Good attention to detail. • Good sense of humour. • Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team. • A friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach. • Open-mindedness, patience and compassion. • A commitment to equal opportunities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all school matters. • High levels of self-confidence. • Ability to relate well to other professionals.
