The Risk & Compliance Assistant will be part of the Risk Professional Support team and provide practical administrative and operational support to the Risk Group team. This maternity-cover role is suited to an organised early-career professional who is keen to develop experience within an international law firm. Working with experienced colleagues, the postholder will help manage routine compliance activity, maintain accurate records and ensure enquiries and actions are progressed promptly. Responsibilities Monitor the central departmental mailboxes, triaging enquiries and escalating matters where appropriate. Log, coordinate and track data subject rights requests and personal data breaches, with training provided. Maintain regulatory records, registers, policies, procedures and supporting documentation. Assist with reporting, compliance metrics, quarterly entity reviews and wider risk and compliance projects. Coordinate meetings, training records, filing and other day-to-day team administration. Skills and Experience Experience working in a professional services or legal industry is preferred. Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication, with sound judgement and discretion. A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience using the Microsoft Office suite. An interest in data protection, legal regulation or compliance; role-specific training will be provided. Who are we looking for? We don't have a type.
