Hardware Preparation & Returns Technician | Nottingham | CSY Retail Systems Permanent | Full-time, on site | Competitive base salary Fancy a role where you’re the engine room behind every installation, and your hands-on skills keep UK retailers up and running? CSY Retail Systems is looking for a Hardware Preparation & Returns Technician to join our Nottingham team. You’ll support our installation and helpdesk teams by getting hardware ready before it goes out and dealing with it when it comes back. Requirements What you’ll be doing You’ll make sure the right kit is in the right place at the right time. That means: Making sure required equipment is available when installations are scheduled Setting up new hardware ready for installation and handing it over to the Installation Team Preparing hardware for customer returns Keeping hardware available for customer swapouts, and working with couriers to get it moving Repairing swapped hardware where appropriate Every smooth install and every swapout that reaches a customer on time starts with you. What you’ll bring Hands-on experience with PCs or IT hardware (EPOS experience is a bonus) A methodical, detail-focused approach, including accurate stock and equipment tracking Good organisation and the ability to prioritise against deadlines Clear, friendly communication with colleagues and couriers Fault-finding and repair skills, or the enthusiasm to learn them Bonus points if you’ve got: Retail or EPOS industry experience A background in warehouse, stock or logistics coordination Benefits Why CSY Retail Systems Because great work deserves great rewards.
