Resident Engineer (Electrical)

Working as a Resident Engineer (Electrical), you will act as Black & White Engineering’s on-site technical representative, supporting the successful delivery of major data centre projects. You will work closely with contractors, clients and multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring installations align with design intent and project requirements. You will provide technical oversight throughout construction, review electrical installations, resolve engineering issues and support commissioning activities. Your role will be critical in maintaining quality, safety and project performance from construction through to handover. What’s in it for you? Essential Skills & Experience Strong understanding of electrical systems and building services infrastructure. Experience reviewing installations against design requirements and specifications. Ability to identify, investigate and resolve technical issues during construction. Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Knowledge of construction practices, site processes and health and safety requirements. Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
