Open 7 days a week including school holidays, the Youth Zone’s purpose is to help young people grow to be happy, healthy and successful adults. The state of the art £10 million building provides young people with facilities that are second to none delivering over twenty sporting, artistic, cultural and general recreational activities each session. We're looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to help bring the stories of Base71 Youth Zone to life! As part of our Fundraising and Communications Team, you'll work closely with our Marketing and Communications Lead to create engaging content that showcases the incredible activities, opportunities and experiences available to young people across Barnsley. From filming and editing Reels to capturing photography, creating social media content and producing our weekly newsletter, you'll play a hands-on role in sharing what makes Base71 special. You'll also work closely with our Youth Work team, building positive relationships with staff and young people to capture authentic moments and celebrate their achievements. We're looking for someone with creative flair, an eye for engaging content and a willingness to learn. You don't need years of professional marketing experience. Whether you're a recent graduate, currently studying, self-taught or have developed your skills through practical experience, we'd love to hear from you.
